New To Amrita? We can’t wait to meet you!
Check out the information below for all you need to know to have the best experience with us upon your first visit!
New to yoga and wondering what to wear? Please come dressed as if you were going to workout at the gym.
We are open 20 minutes prior to any scheduled class and close 20 minutes after the end time of any scheduled class.
Pre-registration is highly recommended for all classes. Especially hot yoga, jump & jam, rebounding & barre as these classes often sell out!
Attending class with a friend? Awesome! Please be advised each student has to have their own account and purchasing 2 drop ins or packages will not save 2 spaces in class. Want to gift a friend or loved one their first class? Please see this link on how to purchase a class gift card and send to them, https://unionfit.helpscoutdocs.com/article/321-gift-cards-account-balances. They will receive this in their email and then can create an account and register for class on their own!
Please know that we encourage all students to arrive on time. Doors to classes close (literally the front door gets locked) 5 minutes after the start time of the class. Why? This ensures that all students who have arrived on time have a peaceful start to their practice & that all students have the safest practice with us by not missing the warm up!
To ensure the cleanest and healthiest practice space we do not rent or provide mats for hot yoga classes. We also do not allow use of our community blankets in our hot classes. Wooden blocks are provided that are easily sanitized and mats are available for purchase in our lobby ranging from $13-$130 if you need one.
Attending a non-heated class and need a mat? We believe it is best for students to come with their own mat! In the event you need to rent a mat for a non-heated class we do provide them for $2/use.
Our practice spaces are cell phone free spaces. We ask all devices are silenced and left outside of classrooms. Need to make a call? Please do so in our downstairs lobby. Have a special exception (ex. doctor on call, first time babysitter for newborn, etc)? Please make the teacher of class aware, place phone on vibrate and beneath a shirt or towel.
We filter all the water in the building and everyone is welcome to fill water bottles right out of the bathroom sinks (no specific tap). Forgot your water bottle? No worries, we sell water for $3 in the lobby.
Need a towel for any class? Sorry we do not rent towels, but we have high quality microfiber hand towels and YogiToes towels of various sizes in our lobby available for purchase from $4-$60.
Pre-registered, but can’t make it to class? Life happens, please know we do not accept class cancellations via phone, text or email. Need to store your belongings while in class? We offer cubbies (they do not lock) and either there is a front desk staff at the door or the doors are locked while in class. We ask that all students leave valuables at home or safely stored in your car as Amrita is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.
