Please come dressed as if you were going to workout at the gym. We ask that you bring a Yoga mat if you have one along with a towel and water. We do not rent mats for any heated classes. Mats, water & towels are available for purchase in our lobby if needed!

We open our doors 20 minutes prior to class & the studio closes 20 minutes after each class!

We do not rent mats for any of our heated classes! We do rent mats for non-heated classes only for $2/use. Towels are available for purchase in the lobby. Microfiber hand towels available for $4, YogiToes hand towels available for $20 and YogiToes Mat towels available for $60-$75.

We do not have a specified fill station for water. We filter all the water in the building and welcome you to fill your water bottle right out of the sinks in the bathroom. In the event you forget your water bottle we sell water & coconut water in the lobby!

Pre-registration is highly recommended for all of our classes. Especially any Pilates, barre, core cardio, aerial or hot yoga as these classes often sell out!

We encourage all students to arrive on time. Doors to classes close (literally the front door gets locked) at the class start time . If class is on a waitlist & you do not arrive prior to the start of class if there are any students on stand by in the lobby we will allow them into class and our cancellation policy will be instilled!
Why? This ensures that all students who have arrived on time have a peaceful start to their practice & that all students have the safest practice with us by not missing the warm up!

There is a 2-hour cancellation window for all of our group classes. Monthly experiences have a 24 hour cancellation policy. In the event you do not cancel (this includes if you enroll and no show for a class) within that 2 or 24 hour window for any in person class or experience, the class will be deducted from your membership, class card or you will forfeit your drop in credit. For classes with limited numbers: Amrita Barre, Core Cardio Fusion, Core Cardio Rebounding and Aerial Yoga no shows & cancellations made after the 2-hour cancellation window will also incur an additional $15 fee. The $15 fee will be charged to all accounts on a daily or weekly basis.
Workshops have varying cancellation policies. Please make sure to read each workshop description prior to booking!

Pre-registered, but can’t make it to class? Life happens, please know we do not accept class cancellations via phone, text or email. Please make yourself aware of our cancellation policies and all students are responsible to log into their account via the website or our branded app and cancel their own class reservations!

We do require pre-payment to be added to our waitlist as no one is allowed to register for classes unpaid. When a spot opens in class students are notified by either text, email or both! Once notified, you have 30 minutes to confirm or deny your spot in class. After that 30 minute window the next person on the waitlist will be invited into class. We highly suggest you agree to receive text notifications for the quickest way to secure a space in class!

Need to store your belongings while in class? We offer cubbies (they do not lock) and either there is a front desk staff at the door or the doors are locked while in class. We ask that all students leave valuables at home or safely stored in your car as Amrita is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.

Our practice spaces are cell phone free spaces. We ask all devices are silenced and left outside of classrooms. Need to make a call? Please do so in our downstairs lobby. Have a special exception (ex. doctor on call, first time babysitter for newborn, etc)? Please make the teacher of class aware prior to the start of class, place phone on vibrate and beneath a shirt or towel.

We have two showers for use at the studio. Students are required to bring their own towel and toiletries. Please be mindful of time as the studio does close promptly at 20 minutes after the end of your scheduled class!

In the event that you need to leave a class early we kindly ask that you communicate this to the teacher of the class prior to taking class. This ensures that we can manage letting you out of the studio and locking the door behind you to continue to ensure the safety of all participants and their belongings!

Amrita Yoga & Wellness is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items! Please leave all valuables at home. If you forgot something at the studio we do welcome you to check the lost and found behind the front desk any time around a scheduled class time as soon as you can. We only hold lost items for a short period of time!

There is free Street Parking along Frankford Ave, Front St, and Thompson and Master Streets (west of Frankford Ave) with generally a 3 hour parking time limit. East of Frankford Ave there is free, generally 2 hour parking time limit along almost all streets. Always make sure to check street signs as timing and parking rules can change block to block!
If you are unable to find street parking there is a very reasonably priced self park, self pay lot approximately 2 blocks from the studio! This lot is located on west side of Front Street between Master & Thompson Streets across from W.m Mulherin’s Sons restaurant.
Save yourself the time in finding parking and take public transportation! We are only 1 1/2 blocks from the Girard stop on the Market/Frankford El train, the #15 bus just steps outside our door, and the #25 bus stops right outside Amrita! We also have bike racks outside for convenient bike parking.
