Sangha Sessions
Sangha Sessions
Join us for quarterly gatherings to create community beyond the mat and studio walls!
The Yoga and Buddhist traditions use the word sangha to signify spiritual community - those who share similar spiritual values and offer a source of support to each other. Yogic teachings also consider community to be an essential element of a spiritual path. The support and safety of a group can help us let down our defenses and be more honest with ourselves. When we can practice more truth from an unarmored place it can inspire us to have more compassion for ourselves/each other and be a great source of inspiration. When we practice Yoga or meditation together, the group energy helps us focus and uplifts the mind beyond what we can do alone.
The support of a like-minded group is not only invaluable in the Yoga practice space. Getting to know the individuals you share sacred space with can greatly improve our mental and emotional health! Amrita is ecstatic to begin offering quarterly ‘Sangha Sessions’ to allow for a deeper sense of connection and community for all who choose to arrive on the mat with us. A happier and more connected community is a more peaceful and positively impactful community!
We hope you will join us for our first of many quarterly Sangha Sessions!
