Follow these practices to have the best experience at Amrita Yoga & Wellness

Studio & Class Cancellation Policies

We love seeing our students on the mat and we highly encourage you to join us from anywhere in the world for any of our virtual offerings by enrolling in class ahead of time.

In-Studio and Virtual only classes will be cancelled if:

  • There are 0-3 students enrolled 3 hours prior to the class start time

  • For 6:30am classes, there are 0-3 students enrolled at 9pm the night prior

There is a 3-hour cancellation window for all of our classes. In the event you do not cancel (this includes if you enroll and no show for a class) within that 3-hour window for any in person class, the class will be deducted from your membership or class card. For classes with limited numbers: Amrita Barre, Core Cardio Fusion, Core Cardio Rebounding and Aerial Yoga cancellations made after the 3-hour cancellation window will also incur and additional $15 fee for late cancel. The $15 fee will be charged to all applicable accounts on a weekly basis.

Class cancellations can only be made by logging into your Union account! We do not accept class cancellations by email, text, phone/voicemail to the studio, or social media.

Please note our classes cannot be transferred or shared. And no refunds are given on unused classes!

Private Session Cancellation Policy

24 hours cancellation notice needed. If less than 24 hours notice is given we will deduct the session from your account. If late cancels exceed more than 3, for each late cancel the session will be deducted from your account and a $20 late cancel fee will be charged.

​Workshop Cancellation Policy

​For workshops held with Amrita Teachers: Cancel 48 hours prior 100% refund, cancel within 24 hours of start of workshop 50% refund, cancel in less than 24 hours of workshop start NO refund.

For workshops and trainings held with Amrita Teachers: Cancel with 4 weeks notice to receive a 100% refund, cancel in less than 4 weeks notice NO refund.

For workshops, courses, and trainings with Guest Teachers refund policy may vary. Please note the refund policy listed specifically to that event please!



in-Studio Etiquette & Policies

  • You are welcome to join us 15 min prior to the start of class and all students must exit the building no later than 15 minutes after class ends.

  • In order to ensure that we are providing the best experience possible all of our classes each class will start and end promptly at their scheduled times. Once class time arrives, the front door to the studio becomes locked and no one will be granted late entry into class!

  • Please know our studios are all device free zones. No devices are allowed in our practice spaces or allowed to be used outside of our lobby. Are you a doctor on call or a new parent with an infant at home? Exceptions are made ONLY if the teacher of the class approves and phones are to be put on silent/vibrate mode and stored out of sight of the teacher and other students (ex. under a blanket)!

  • Need to leave class early? If you can not stay for the duration of class we suggest you choose a class you can fully attend. Due to the set up of our studio we do not allow early exists as it is disruptive to the teacher, students and potentially puts the safety of students’ belongings at risk (Amrita is not responsible for any lost or stolen belongings) as we can not, under any circumstance leave the front door the studio open for your early escape.

  • Pre-registration is required for all in-studio classes and our 3 hour cancellation policy applies.

  • For all in-studio 6:30am classes, there must be at least 3 people signed up by 10pm the night before. If not, the in-studio class will be cancelled.

  • We do have showers but do not provide towels or toiletries. Also students are to keep showering to a quick rinse as to respect the teachers time and the studio policy that we close 15 minutes after the end of every scheduled class!

  • Please note our classes cannot be transferred or shared. And no refunds are given on unused classes!


Increased Studio Cleaning & Safety Protocols

  • Bathrooms will be sanitized after every class.

  • EPA-registered coronavirus killing wipes will be set out for each student in class and you will find these wipes in the hallway outside of the main room and in the lobby. Please use them to wipe off any surfaces you touch throughout your visit to the studio.

  • 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer is now located in our lobby, in each locker room, and the main practice room. We ask that this is for single, personal hand use only.

  • Our air filters have been replaced with MERV-15 air filters.

  • Each of our practice spaces contains medical grade in-room air filters that filters the air completely in 30 min or less!
